Money Pieces

Money pieces are the kind of highlights that put a frame round your face. They are meant to look bright at the front. To explain this better money pieces are those lights where you have one strand on each side at the front on the face, highlighted. However they blend in into a balayage on the rest of the hair.

Baby Lights

Baby lights where very common in the 2000 as people used to cut their hair in a pixie hair cut and give highlights for contrast. However even though it is not that common and in trend in 2020, people still come for a few lights at the top area or all over the hair. Baby lights are done with a tail comb and one weaves trough the sections one by one.

Slices

Slices are just baby lights but without the weaving. These are literally a slice of the hair being bleached. You get a thin section and highlight it. This is perfect for those people who would like a lot of lights near each other. This will give a different look immediately.

Toner

Toner is also a kind of highlight. This is because whatever kind if toner you choose will out a contrast to your hair. Of course if you are not using toner to dye your hair in one color when dark. What I mean is this : There are two kind of different toners one can apply. One is done on dark hair to cover few white hairs when the whites aren’t that intensive so you use 10 volume peroxide. This is only done on virgin hair. However there is also the kind of toner that is done on the lightening part which is done to tone some brassy blonde and also to give some color and create some contrast.

Gloss

Gloss is just like a toner however it has more shine in it and in our deference it is best used on dark hair or on a one color situation just to boost the color and make it pop more.
