Some tips : This hairstyle is best done on washed hair as it gives more volume. When washing hair the hair is usually with more volume and puffy. Therefore that helps. When scrunching the hair one can use some hair wax, that will definitely help the ponytail to stay scrunched for a longer amount of time.  However if you have no volume at all you can always section your ponytail and add extensions to it.   4. Secure with a hair elastic
  5. Loosen up the bottom on the braid

When braiding you will be braiding under and tight. The smaller the section while braiding is the tighter the Dutch braid becomes. To secure this hair style you may use some light hairspray when finished. You can blow dry your hair straight from the before starting the hairstyle. However we do not suggest curls with this hair style as it will look a bit to much having curls and braids mixed with each other. It can look a bit messy.

Side Water Fall Braid

When braiding a water fall braid all you have to do is braid normally, but instead on continuing to braid leave one of the strands that shall be braided next out, and then continue to braid. Meanwhile keep on repeating the step. Till you reach your crown area. Then continue to braid normally.

Dutch Braid
